Yoga helps increase longevity of golf

Yoga can help increase flexibility, range of motion in the joints as well as improving concentration and focus. Because of repeated movements in one plane and swinging on one side of the body, golfers often tend to get lower back pain and have uneven muscle development. The golf swing requires stability and flexibility of the hips, thoracic spine and shoulders. A yoga practice addresses these issues, apart from helping to develop a strong core for more spinal support.
